Japan Institute of Wastewater Engineering Technology (JIWET) was established on September 28,1992 for the purpose of promoting introduction of new Technologies into sewerage works to make them efficient and smooth, so that they contribute to the improvement of the living environment of the nation, through the research and development of new technologies regarding sewerage. 　　`Bridge by new technology` when the local authority is going to carry out sewerage work , with this slogan JIWET is advancing the development, adaptation of the efficient new technology that matches the area. Also, we are doing such joint research and evaluation that take up the excellent technology of private actively and apply it in sewerage works.
